High Intensity Supports
High Intensity Support services are intended for NDIS participants who have severe disabilities or complex care requirements. These participants often need round-the-clock assistance, close supervision, and extensive support in daily living tasks and community engagement. Equinox Care staff, under the direct and indirect supervision of a registered nurse are trained to provide skills services in these areas.
Services we Offer:
- Personal care: Assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating.
- High-level physical assistance: Support for participants with mobility limitations, including transfers, positioning, and use of assistive technology.
- Complex communication support: Aid for those with speech, language, or hearing impairments to improve communication abilities.
- Behavioural supports: Intervention strategies to manage behaviours of concern and enhance coping skills.
- Clinical Supports: Specialised care for participants with medical needs, such as wound care, medication management, diabetes management, complex bowel care, enteral feeding and monitoring of chronic conditions.
